Ben has been in financial services for 15 years and has occupied a wide variety of roles, ranging from a practicing financial adviser to the Head Technical Services and Research team at the Tenet network.
Previous roles have involved overseeing national projects and running a team of financial advisers servicing high value clients for multi-national bank, HSBC, as well as creating a restricted advice proposition for Tenet.
A strong believer in the acquisition of knowledge, Ben is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and has an MSc in Financial Planning & Business Management.
Ben joined Sinfonia in March 2017 as our Managing Director.
Mark Scanlon began his career as an engineer in high-tech electronics and manufacturing.
His strong interest in business however drove his move to the management sphere, where he established the commercial division for Dyson. Mark has a proven track record of building and growing businesses and his previous role was chief executive of the AIM-listed provider of employee and financial services, Personal Group Holdings. During his tenure, he oversaw a sustained period of growth and diversification, underpinned by digital technology. Mark was appointed as Chief Executive of Tenet Group in April 2019.
He lives in Newcastle with his wife and two daughters and his free time is spent first and foremost with his family. He is a self-confessed ‘petrol-head’, as well as enjoying travel, particularly to the U.S and Asia.
Helen has been in the Financial Services industry for nearly 30 years and spent a significant amount of that time with Lincoln Financial Group.
With a wide range of experience in investment life and pensions, the majority of her career has been in leading proposition development and change delivery.
She is ACII, Chartered Treasurer and in 2008 became a Chartered Director and was elected a Fellow of the IoD. Helen joined Tenet in March 2011 as Sales & Business Development Director for Sinfonia and was appointed as Distribution & Development Director of Tenet in 2013. She was appointed as Group Operations Director in 2017.
Caroline joined Tenet in 2012 as Group Finance & Risk Director, in 2017 she became Group Risk & Regulatory Director.
Previously Caroline was Finance Director and Chief Risk Officer for TD Direct Investing where she grew the business from a small firm to one of the largest UK stockbrokers. She managed a series of acquisitions covering retail and institutional brokerage/banking, onshore and offshore. At TD Caroline also managed a joint venture with RBS group to provide stockbroking for RBS/NatWest customers.
Caroline qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 1994 and joined Yorkshire Building Societies Corporate Planning team in 1996. She transferred to YorkSHARE Ltd as Finance Director in 1998 and managed a successful sale to TD.
Keely joined Tenet in August 2017 as Group Finance Director.
Keely trained with KPMG and has worked in the industry for the last 16 years in senior roles, primarily in the financial sector. Previously, she was Finance Director of Skipton Financial Services Ltd and during her tenure, the business achieved 17th in the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies. Keely is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
